In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

—Genesis 1:1

How can the very first verse of the Bible be a case for assumption? The Hebrew word translated “God” is “Elohim” which is the plural of “Eloha“. Thus, one might assume plurality of gods; other verses from the same book of Genesis used to back up this claim are Genesis 1:26, Genesis 3:22, and Genesis 11:7 where the word “us” is used when God speaks.

However, we will look through the pages of scriptures to determine the true nature of God.

Is God One, Two, Three or Seven?

A man and wife relationship often begins with Courtship, which lasts for a while, after which the marriage proper follows. Altogether, these two events span many years and the two parties gradually begin to “know” each other—a  knowledge that they would never attain if they weren’t daily interacting and communing in an open-hearted fashion. The relationship with our bridegroom isn’t very different. After we may have known him in a perfect understanding of the Godhead (A perfect understanding of who He is, and what He represents to us), which is eternal life, then we begin to grow in the knowledge of Him.

This phrase has fast become a cliché—even individuals who will never lift a finger to attempt to live by the holy scriptures quote this portion by default. It is often used to shut up any effort to lead from the way of destruction to Life.

Truly, scripture could be quoted to one’s damnation, particularly when it is misrepresented. The sleek serpent notoriously uses this means to arrest and seal his captives in deceits. Shocked that the devil deceives using the Holy Scriptures? Yes Sir! We find that the last age strategy of deceit as prophesied in Matthew 24:24, would be by men anointed to preach from the Holy Scriptures but a twisted and perverted version of it, and MANY, not few would be cart away through this sly stealth.

In the previous rotulus, we delved into the dispersion of the Nation of Israel. Shalmaneser the Assyrian besieged the 10 Northern kingdoms while Nebuchadnezzar the Babylonian—the 2 Southern kingdoms. The theme, “God’s endtime dealings with Israel” is to walk Israel through history and convey by the scriptures’ expectations for Israel at this end of time.

God is the God of restoration. The psalmist said God should not cast off Israel forever (Psalms 44:23) and as such God restored Israel—though there is a yet another restoration to the Nation of Israel in the future.

In the previous rotulus, we delved into the division of the Nation of Israel into 2—10 Northern kingdoms and 2 Southern kingdoms (Judah and Benjamin). The theme, “God’s endtime dealings with Israel” is to walk Israel through history and convey by the scriptures expectations for Israel in this end of time.

In fulfilment of His word, God dispersed the nation of Israel to other Nations for their disobedience and rebellion. We must understand that this dispersion was not a one-step process but occured in time, in history, and will still occur in near future.

Supposing He Was With Them

42. And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
43. And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.
44. But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day’s journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.
45. And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
46. And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

Luke 2:42-46
Blessed be the name of the Lord—for it is given unto us to know the mysteries of the kingdom (Matthew 13:11) hence we are not permitted to live by assumptions, especially of things pertaining to the Kingdom of Heaven. While not all assumptions are bad or costly, in this rotulus, we will be addressing some costly assumptions held by Christians. Remember, God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). In King James’ version of the Holy Scriptures (KJV), the word “assumption” does not appear, however a substitute for the word is “supposing” and it appears seven times.

In the previous rotulus, we delved into the Nation Israel—running through the promise of God to Abraham, the establishment of the Nation Israel and the Israel-Arab connections. The theme, “God’s endtime dealings with Israel” is to walk Israel through history and convey by the scriptures expectations for Israel in this end of time.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

—Joel 2:25

The people of Israel eventually got into the promise land yet Satan’s charade of attack was not yet over. This is because Satan knows the placement of Israel and the glory Israel has with God.

Just before Christ left this same world, he left his current and would-be followers a couple of promises: one of them is: “and these SIGNS shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with NEW tonguesMark 16:17. Note the words “SIGNS’’ and “NEW’’.

The word is God is Yes and Amen! Outside that revelation, you will grope and yet—you won’t find meaning to the Word. I want us to check the scriptures concerning the belief, widely propagated by the Roman Catholic church and her daughters, that the church was built on Apostle Peter. God bless you as you follow with an open heart!

18. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

—Matthew 16:18

We are at a critical point in TIME and at the verge of fulfilment of major prophecies in scriptures—which pertains to the Nation of Israel.

Israel is the time and calendar of God – William Branham

Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?  For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? .

—Romans 11:12, 15

There is an ongoing restoration of the Jews (Acts 1:6, Acts 3:19-21) and God must engage in series of events to bring about this complete restoration to the Jews.
